Terminal cancer patient Jill shares warning about home DIYs | The Drum

Jill North has mesothelioma, a type of cancer that occurs in the thin layer of tissue that covers the majority of your organs.

She was diagnosed three years ago and immediately underwent treatment. She is now in the final stages of the disease.

Most mesotheliomas are thought to be related to exposure to asbestos in homes and on work She spoke to The Drum earlier this month so she could warn others of the dangers of unprotected DIY home renovations, and to talk about what it's like waiting to die.
