Delhi IAS Coaching Tragedy: Bulldozer Action Begins In Old Rajendra Nagar, Jr. Engineer Terminated

A day after 3 civil services aspirants were killed in a flooded coaching institute basement in Old Rajendra Nagar. Now, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) initiated 'bulldozer action' to remove illegal encroachments. MCD Commissioner Ashwani Kumar has terminated local Junior Engineer and suspended the Assist. Engineer. This marks the first significant action taken by the corporation against officials following the accident. Earlier, the MCD had sealed 13 illegally run basements of coaching centres in Old Rajinder Nagar of Delhi. Meanwhile, MCD will set up a high-level committee to investigate the flooding of the coaching centre's basement.
