This event is part of the "Bridging the West Coasts: the European Union in Berkeley" series promoted by the Center for Portuguese Studies, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Portugal in San Francisco. What are the ongoing EU targets and efforts to tackle climate change? What are the roles of “EU Climate Law” and the “Fit for 55” package in this matter? Why is this a crucial moment for environmental planning? These are some of the questions that our special guests address. At the same time, they reflect on the results and efforts of fighting climate change in the EU and USA.
