My name is Sam Revel. I'm the director of industrialized construction at Pitt Meadows Plumbing and Mechanical. I think it's fundamentally changed everything about how we work.

We were a paper based company, just like most other contractors, and we've completely digitized everything that we do over the last 5 years since we joined the Stratus group. Um, I think in the last three to six months, really the main thing for us has been really dialing in our productivity and our tracking of our productivity, starting to really talk about tack times for how we produce and using all of the data within Stratus for that.

The other big piece for us has been parts. Trying to find backordered parts, have the parts been received, where are we putting mill certs, where are we putting heat numbers, how are we tracking all that information.

What was it like before? Um, there was a lot of paper, piles and piles and piles of paper, um, a lot of trying to figure out where we were with production, trying to understand what we were making, when it was due, trying to manage revisions. Even simple things like taking off weld inches and groove inches manually rather than being able to have it all automated.

Uh, so that's how it was before. Definitely with productivity and reduction of just the administration time that we have to take to release a package to the shop. So being able to automate the calculation of weld inches, groove inches, see the live productivity, have different dashboards across different departments so we can understand where we're at in production, I'd say that's, that's been the biggest impact for us.
