Honhaar Scholarship latest update by Punjab Higher Education Commission
The Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarships Program by the Punjab government offers merit-based scholarships to the deserving outstanding students pursuing undergraduate degrees at leading universities and colleges. This program is designed to support high-achieving individuals with limited financial resources, empowering them to access quality education and excel in their academic careers. Scholarship scheme covers 100% tuition fees of the students enabling them to focus on their studies.

Eligibility Criteria
i. The applicant must have domicile of Punjab province.
ii. The age of the applicant must not be more than 22-years on closing date.
iii. Family income of the applicant must be less than Rs. 300,000 per month.
iv. The Applicant must be enrolled in Selected Disciplines in the Selected Universities / Colleges in fall session 2024. The newly enrolled MBBS and BDS students in 2024 will also be eligible for this scholarship program.

Number of Scholarships:
Approximately 30,000 Scholarships will be awarded annually.

Scholarship Coverage
100% Tuition Fee of the applicant will be covered under this scheme.

Scholarship Duration
As per undergraduate degree program (04 to 05-Years)

Selection Criteria
The final selection will be made giving 30% weightage to Matric marks and 70% weightage to intermediate/equivalent marks.
