In this episode, Gracie and Callum speak to Nicola Nuttall.
Nicola is an author, fundraiser and also Gracie’s mum!
Nicola lost her daughter and Gracie’s sister, Laura to Glioblastoma in May 2023.
Before losing her daughter however, she also lost a sibling. Nicola’s younger sister Laura died when she was just 4.
Nicola gives The DSS a brave insight into losing a sibling so young, and how a lack of information regarding her sisters death lead her to fill in the blanks on her own.
With tears, but lots of laughter too, Nicola, Callum and Gracie compare their own experiences with loss.
