The saying goes, "No pain, no gain". For West Columbia resident Susan "Tex" Green, that adage rings especially true.

At the age of 5, Susan was forced by her mother to go watch a wrestling match, and it turned out, that would be the first of many, many matches she'd watch in the same seat. It wasn't the first impression, it was the second one, that swayed her to wrestling for the rest of her life.

Now, she trains men and women from around the world to follow in her footsteps. In a gym, with no air conditioning, no spectators, or no state-of-the-art equipment. Just tough work, and a tough cookie for a trainer.
