The Acer Windows Mixed Reality headset also comes with wireless motion controllers and works “right out of the box” with Windows Mixed Reality-ready PCs. It features two front-hinged 2.89-inch LCD displays with a 95-degree field of view. The headset sports a 2880 x 1440p resolution with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. It connects to a PC using an HDMI 2.0 connector, while it uses a USB 3.0 connector for downloading data. In terms of build and design, the MR headset is made with double-padded, sweat-resistant materials and sports adjustable headbands.

he Mixed Reality headset uses 6-Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) positional tracking and comes with a 13-foot cable for allowing a wider range of movement. It allows users to interact directly with their environment, and software using gesture, gaze and voice. The headset can also be controlled using traditional inputs like mice, keyboards and controllers.
