Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Nevada | The Frame

Описание к видео Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Nevada | The Frame

Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge is a desert oasis 90 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the home of the 26 endemic species (plants and animals found nowhere else in the world). Notably, are the endangered Warm Springs and Amargosa pupfish shown in the video. Crystal Spring outputs 2,800 gallons of water a minute. Dissolved limestone, which reflects blue light, is what makes the spring water so blue. Ash Meadow’s first inhabitants were the Southern Paiute and Timbisha Shoshone American Indians.
