My hubby, the chef-in-residence, was in his element, while I dove in (in all the wrong attire) and discovered a new passion for making authentic cactus tacos, salsa, and tortillas from scratch.

But seriously, who knew one prickly pear petal packs as much protein as TWO steaks?! Mind. Blown. And we were so full!

Loved the music, the warmth of our host family, vibing with my new little beauties, and the joy of creating together - unforgettable! Who needs tourist traps when you can taste the real deal? And the cherry on top? A serene beach sunset session with our guide!
