Scale Day & Fly-In 2024

Highlights of the Wimborne MAC annual scale fly-in. Joined by members of Jersey (Channel Islands)MFC, Salisbury MFC, Wincanton MFC & Christchurch & District MFC. Flight line length was full and the car park was too for spectators. Wind conditions made taking off and landing challenging due to a crosswind of 12 mph and sudden gusts but gradually subsided by late afternoon. All due credit to the pilots on the day and no "land outs", although a few "bunny hops".
There were many more models on display and their flights not captured on the day.

One pilot managed to win both the best Scale Model award by a judge and the Best Scale Flight award by the pilots choice vote.
