This was surprising. I had never expected this truck to even be on a route let alone this one. This driver particularly always drove the older trucks in the yard and has never had a “brand new” truck.
I like this truck, the best feature is no CNG tank on the top which is awesome. Another thing is that this truck runs at a decent pace. This was the first day in the truck, so the driver did not have much experience. The truck looks very sharp and is a novel truck, and it goes well with recycling because it would not do well in the landfill (too many electrical components underneath the truck). I am surprised they used this truck on route as soon as they did, with poster child trucks normally used for shows and parades until they are a few months old. The drivers old truck (2268) is going to be assigned to another recycle driver.
