Activision Classics - River Raid 2

I never could figure out how to launch the aircraft when I was young. In spite of it, I always prefered the second game over the first. This game was, much to a suprise, released in 1988, six years after the first, and when the NES was in its prime!

In River Raid 2, you can complete missions while getting as many points by taking down the ememy forces that you can. You can shoot missles at jets and helicopters and launch torpedoes to lower objects (frankly, I though you had to decrease your altitude in order to get them until I read that in the manual just recently). You can refuel by flying over gold refueling planes or buoys (the gold buoys require flying at a low altitude). Landing on an aircraft carrier ends a mission.

This is about normal for me in terms of skill. If I knew about the torpedoes and gold bouys sooner, then maybe I would have survived long enough to see an aircraft carrier. Should I do an extra video with it? I would be a good idea...
