Looking for Lilith Theatre Company's Summer Drama Camp at historic Locust Grove

Have you ever visited a historic location and imagined what it must have been like to live and work there? Looking for Lilith and Historic Locust Grove have teamed up this summer to bring the past to the present! During this intensive one week in-person camp, students learn from Locust Grove interpreters what life was like in early nineteenth-century Kentucky. Using LFL’s tried and true YouthSpeak devising process, students craft their own play inspired by their exploration of life and work right on the grounds, including the formal gardens, lawns, and porch of the 1792 house. The camp culminates in a performance on the last day.

Looking for Lilith is dedicated to amplifying unheard voices and Historic Locust Grove is committed to examining its full history, including the lives of those who were enslaved on the grounds.
