Lancaster Family Vacation: Kid-Friendly Amusement Park Dutch Wonderland & Millers Smorgasbord

No Lancaster Family Vacation is complete without a visit to the super kid-friendly amusement park Dutch Wonderland and Pennsylvania Dutch cooking buffet Millers Smorgasbord! We save these for Sunday, where many other destinations are closed. If you hit Dutch Wonderland when they open at 10AM, you're guaranteed at least a couple of hours of quiet park with NO LINES - awesome!! It's one of the family-friendly theme parks in the country, no joke! You must try their new(ish) Merlin's Mayhem, which is not a "kiddy ride" if you ask me, SO much fun!! They have tons of rides, great for toddlers through adults, as well as a nice water park! Follow it up with a Pennsylvania Dutch buffet at Millers Smorgasbord, and don't forget the dessert bar which is to die for. My personal MUST EAT is their Chocolate Pecan Pie!! HEAVEN!!!
