દાદાશ્રી કહે છે, આત્મજ્ઞાન માટે ગુરુ નહિ પણ સદગુરુ જોઈએ. ગુરુ તો ઘણા બધા હોય પણ સદગુરુ લાખોમાં એક હોય. સદગુરુ એટલે શું ? કે જેણે સતને પ્રાપ્ત કરેલું છે. સત એટલે અવિનાશી ! સત્ય નહિ. આ જે સત્ય છે તે વિનાશી છે અને સત-ચિત-આનંદનો સત એ અવિનાશી છે. એ સદગુરુ કે જેણે અવિનાશી પદ પ્રાપ્ત કરેલું છે તેવા સદગુરુની ભક્તિથી બધું જ મળે. પ્રત્યક્ષ ભક્તિ, સદગુરુની અથવા જ્ઞાનીપુરુષની કરવી. જ્ઞાનીપુરુષ એ દેહધારી પરમાત્મા કહેવાય.

गुरु पूर्णिमा स्पेशल वीडियो 2012 - अलौकिक गुण ज्ञानी के

दादाश्री कहते थे कि आत्मज्ञान के लिए गुरु नहीं लेकिन सद्गुरु की ज़रूरत है। गुरु तो बहुत होते हैं लेकिन सद्गुरु लाखों में एक होते हैं। सद्गुरु यानी क्या? जिन्होंने सत् को प्राप्त किया है। सत् अर्थात् अविनाशी। सत्य नहीं। यह जो सत्य है यह विनाशी सत्य है और सत्-चित-आनंद वाला सत् अविनाशी है। वे सद्गुरु जिन्होंने अविनाशी पद प्राप्त किया है, ऐसे सद्गुरु की भक्ति से सभी कुछ मिलता है। प्रत्यक्ष भक्ति सद्गुरु की अथवा ज्ञानी पुरुष की करनी चाहिए। ज्ञानी पुरुष, देहधारी परमात्मा कहलाते हैं।

Gurupurnima Special Video 2012 – The Extraordinary Characteristics of the Gnani

Dadashri says, “To attain the Knowledge of the Self, you don’t need a guru, you need a Sadguru (Self-realized spiritual teacher).” There are many gurus, but a Sadguru is one in a million. What is a Sadguru? One who has attained Sat (the Self). Sat is that which is permanent! Not satya (truth). Satya is temporary and the Sat in Sat Chit Anand is permanent. It is through the worship of a Sadguru, or One who has attained the permanent state, that one can attain everything. One should do direct worship of a Sadguru or a Gnani Purush. A Gnani Purush is the absolute Self in a human body.
