Dolomites XC and SIV Maneuvers - a LEAF 2 light Review

Описание к видео Dolomites XC and SIV Maneuvers - a LEAF 2 light Review

Got the chance to take the Supair LEAF 2 light (3.6 kg) on a little road trip through the Alps. First test flight at Wallberg (Tegernsee - Germany), followed by some small cross-country flights at Kobala / Tolmin (Slovenia) and finally in the Dolomites at Col Rodella, Fassa Valley (Trentino / South Tyrol, Italy). I really enjoyed the wing and think it's a great progression wing for everyone stepping up from their school glider. It's very easy to fly so you can concentrate on what really matters. Yet there is still a lot of fun to be had with it and all (SIV) maneuvers work flawlessly.

Conclusion [13:05]

Simple launch preparation and behaviour (colour coded, sheathed lines; light fabric)
Low energy collapses and soft recovery
Undemanding and relaxing character in tricky XC conditions; gives you room to concentrate on decision making instead of flying
Accelerator easy to push and wing stays very stable
Well done progression wing you can use for a long time after your first EN-A;

Cheers to 'peak and fly' for the wingman video, check them out!
