Akali VS Void Spirit: A look at the MID role design from both League of Legends, and Dota 2.

Episode 3:
League of Legends and Dota 2 are practically sister games, both inspired by or modeled after Dota Allstars. Yet, as design philosophies diverged, the once identical heroes now have a mix of the traits, both equal and apart.

Enjoy this trip through the comparison of the ASSASSIN MID role, and the heroes Akali and Void Spirit.

EDIT:
Yes, Akali has lots of damage coming out of her passive, but it's mostly just damage that, were she in dota, would just be part of the other abilities. It was tough to decide whether to include it or not, but I chose not to... whether that was the right choice or not, let me know in the comments.
