Meet Sheri Smith, MSN, BN

Sheri Anne Smith, FNP-C, is a dedicated and empathetic board-certified nurse practitioner who has contributed over three decades of service as a nurse and nurse practitioner. In her current role as an advanced practice clinician, she treats patients of all ages for their primary care and wellness examination needs as well as their minor illnesses or injuries. Ms. Smith earned both her masterÕs and bachelorÕs degrees in nursing from the University of Delaware, Newark. Her prior roles, including at ChristianaCare, have included working as a family nurse practitioner, a staff nurse in the neonatal ICU, a cardiac ICU staff nurse, and positions as a school nurse and preschool nurse, among numerous others. She also serves as adjunct faculty in the nurse practitioner program at the University of Delaware as well as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students. Ms. Smith currently resides in Delaware and serves as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. She deeply values the opportunity to provide quality, team-based care for her patients alongside others in the ChristianaCare primary care community.
