Alright! 12 Demons of Christmas 2025! It’s that time of the year again folks! I play a bunch of bangers that I think are worthy of a spot and I reveal what they are on the day I upload them. I am increasing the difficulty this year. Instead of 3 easys, 3 mediums, 3 hards, and 3 insanes, I’m doing 4 mediums, 4 hards, 3 insanes, and 1 extreme. I am pretty proud of myself for beating an extreme under a certain time limit. I don’t mean how many hours I would’ve spent from 0, it’s how many days it would take me to beat it. I’ll reveal what it is on Christmas Day. It’s a banger for sure though, trust me.

We’re starting off with a semi-Christmas level. It isn’t technically a Christmas level at all, but the song was clearly in the holiday spirit, so why not? This level is simply amazing. I had a really fun time. Each part flowed really well and had great sync. There are a few parts that felt rather difficult like the opening of the drop, but it was energetic and really worked with the song. And the song itself is really cinematic. So many beautiful harmonies! Now for the real selling point, the decoration. Mels and the team did such a good job. It really does look like how the setting would be when the clock tolls 7 in post meridiem. The level oozes with atmosphere when every part sets the theme with sky backgrounds. And going from part to part, the colors start shifting, and every color mixture is just so exquisitely stunning. The level is manifesting a gradual sunset. The beginning, in Mels, has a lovely chromatic effect and other cool stuff. I love the balloon platforms, the perspective blurs are really cool, the shading is perfect, I like the balloons attached to saws, the bunting is pretty welcoming, and the clouds look gorgeous. Serponge’s part has these really cool flower orb effects, a ravishing background with the lake, and really cool glow usage. Lebreee has these beautiful orange trees and hanging stuff, the movements are wonderful, I love the mystical hand wielding the pink orbs, and its colors are elegant. The next part, made by PeterNG, is a lot less realistic and more into the cartoony modern style, and it’s a little out of place when it's accompanied with a cinematic song like this one, but I won’t deny it looks pretty. The stars are pretty cool. The next part has me wondering if it’s made by R4NGER or Lumpy, or both perhaps. The sunset setting is seamless, the way the platforms float is just so enthralling, and I love the floating lanterns. Then the last part is really overly bright, except it actually works with the theming and manages to look really nice, and the shiny bubbles are just adorable. Nice way to wrap things up, especially with the now dark setting. Everyone did splendidly here. It’s an absolutely gorgeous level, and I recommend more people check this out.
