Intro to Ordinals (Part 1) | The Biggest Opportunity in Crypto

Are you completely new to Ordinals and have no idea where to start? This is part 1 to a 3 part video series covering the important information in regards to the Ordinal and Bitcoin metaprotocol ecosystem. The intent is to give newcomers the knowledge and tools in order to participate in what is projected to become the next 100 Billion dollar ecosystem play in the cryptocurrency industry.

Ordinals began in late 2022 and since then have become one of the more valuable web3 ecosystems producing billions of dollars of market volume. This is the first time in Bitcoin’s history where new assets are being created from a native protocol. NFTs, fungible tokens, metaverse, and game opportunities lie within the Ordinals space, just like what has been seen on Ethereum and other major layer 1 blockchains.

Part 1 we focus on the theory of Ordinals and the technicals that make inscriptions a usable mechanism for embedding arbitrary data onto Bitcoin blocks. Part 2 will focus on the prevalent technologies and product categories within the Ordinals ecosystem and part 3 will cover the tools, platforms, and marketplaces you need to be familiar with in order to efficiently participate.
