Ferrari has unveiled its latest V12-powered model, the Ferrari 12 Cilindri, which pays homage to the naturally-aspirated V12 engine that has been a staple of the brand since its inception. The 12 Cilindri boasts 830bhp, 40bhp more than its predecessor, the 812 Superfast, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of over 210mph. The car will be available in Europe in Q4 2024, with a starting price of €395,000. Ferrari has also introduced the open-top Spider version simultaneously, priced at €435,000. Both models feature the latest generation of Ferrari's F140HD V12 engine, which has been updated to meet stricter emissions regulations. The 12 Cilindri showcases a sleek and elegant design, with a futuristic aesthetic and modern interior dominated by screens. Ferrari has plans to release its first all-electric car in 2025 and is also exploring the use of synthetic fuels to reduce CO2 emissions. While it is unclear if the 12 Cilindri will be the last V12 model from Ferrari, the brand faces challenges in continuing to produce V12-powered cars due to tightening regulations.
