In this episode, I remove, clean, inspect and re-assemble the drive clutch on a 2005 Ski Doo REV GTX 500ss. This is something most home mechanics can handle on their own with a few affordable specialized tools.
I will show you how to use a clutch puller, button re-installation tools as we check over the inside and outside of this drive clutch. Good clutch maintenance and set up is key to proper performance, long belt life and overall enjoyment of your snowmobile. Usually the clutches should be serviced before the season starts or after the season ends to ensure you get the most out of the season.
