I play a Magic the Gathering Online Modern league with Basking Broodscale Combo, a deck from Patreon subscriber Gobi. Basking Broodscale from MH3 immediately became the backbone of a powerful new Pauper deck that goes infinite with Sadistic Glee. It turns out that budget deck can be souped up and ported into Modern where it is also competitive! Blade of the Bloodchief replaces Sadistic Glee is a more-stable combo enable that can be found with Urza's Saga or Karn, the Great Creator. Modern's efficient interaction and improved mana acceleration and deck-digging capabilities make the combo come together fast. In addition to being a tutor, Karn is also a win condition. With infinite mana, you don't even need to go to combat if you wish for Walking Ballista. We're scaling this Pauper deck up! MTG
