You can easily adapt them to your business model, adjust assumptions, and run quick scenarios without needing complex integrations or software fees. Lately, I’m seeing more founders use Google Sheets, especially for collaboration and live updates with their teams or investors.

Once you’ve got the basics nailed and your business grows, you can always move to more automated tools. But in the beginning? Keep it simple. Get your structure right first; the best forecasting tool is the one you’ll actually use.
