59. Fluid Art - Pop Art combo that TOTALLY works!!

This is a demonstration of the bloom and spin technique with some balloon kisses to edit composition.

All paints were using my new recipe of 1 part paint to 3 parts pouring medium (my pouring medium is 60% Elmer's Glue and 40% water) - I find this formula prevents the colors from drying duller and closer to their vibrancy when wet.

Hello! My name is Kavita Khanna and, originally from India, I am currently settled in the beautiful state of Maryland. I’ve dabbled in art for as long as I can remember… but find myself gravitating towards fluid media where regular brushes are replaced with liquid, fire, air, and gravity with intentional abandon. Even so, I hesitate to label myself a Fluid Artist... I consider myself more of an esoteric artist, incorporating multiple abstract techniques (especially Pop Art and Cubist) into my Fluid Art. The combination appeals to me so much… I feel it allows me to optimize the power of shapes, movement, and colors to best impact the viewer’s feelings and emotions.
