Though there have always been dramas from that age till now that match the same caliber, there’s still something about that era that remains unmatched.

Watching old dramas feels so refreshing. The simplicity of everything, the dialogues, sets, emotions, is beautiful and deeply missed.
I do think part of the love for those dramas also came from the lack of content back then. TV was still a novelty, and watching a drama on a tiny screen felt magical.

It’s just something I think about whenever people talk about how the streets would go quiet because a drama was airing. Must’ve been such a gift of a time, fangirling over one show, its characters, the actors,so intensely that they’re still remembered today with so much love and nostalgia🤍


Same was for Alpha Bravo Charlie, I believe. I remember watching this drama with my parents—they wanted to show it to us—and I felt completely traumatized spoiler alert when Kashif froze and his arms and legs stopped working. That scene and the trauma felt so real to younger me that I never forgot it. Just hearing the name ABC still gives me goosebumps.

I rewatched it later and realized that while it was very sad, it wasn’t as horrific as it had felt back then. But the ending still deeply saddens me every time. Captain Gulsher Khan’s death, and the way he died, stays with me💔

Wanted to dedicate this song to Capt. Gulsher Khan, "Behti hawa sa tha woh, kahan gaya usse dhoondo," but ended up making it for all the main characters❤️‍🩹
