In this tutorial, we will create & setup Google Compute Engine Virtual Machine in Google Cloud Platform. We will be deploying & running javascript APIs in google compute engine virtual machine. We will be opening firewall port for incoming API request in VM. We will also learn how to deploy API code and run API service in google compute engine virtual machine. I will provide step by step guide to setup VM in google cloud platform using google compute engine service.

In this playlist, we will be learning google cloud platform & service. We will learn various compute & storage service in google cloud platform. We will learn about google compute engine virtual machine, cloud run, google Kubernetes Engine, cloud functions, pub sub etc.

** Google Cloud Platform **
Google Cloud Platform is a set of cloud computing services provided by Google that allows you to store, manage, and analyze data. Google Cloud Platform also used for developing, deploying, and scaling applications on Google’s environment. Google Cloud Platform provides tools for developers to build and deploy applications in a secure and reliable manner.

Google Cloud Platform is a public cloud computing platform consisting of a variety of services like compute, storage, networking, application development, Big Data, and more, which run on the same cloud infrastructure that Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Google Search, Photos, Gmail and YouTube, etc.

** Google Compute Engine **
Google Compute Engine offers virtual machines running in Google's data centers connected to its worldwide fiber network. Google Compute Engine is an IaaS component of Google Cloud Platform.
Google’s Compute Engine is a part of the computer platform Google service component of Google Cloud Platform which is built on the global infrastructure that runs Google’s Search Engine, YouTube, and Other Services.

The tooling and workflow offered by the compute engine enable serving from single instances to global ones. It enables users to launch Virtual Machines on-demand VMs can be launched from the standard images or custom images created by users.

These VMs boot quickly, come with persistent disk storage, and deliver consistent performance. The machines are available in many configurations including predefined sizes and can also be created with Custom Machine Types optimized for your specific needs.
