EU to fund Munali Sec Sch Disability Centre of Excellence

The European Union EU says it will finance the completion of construction works of the Munali Secondary School Disability Centre of Excellence next year.

EU Head of Cooperation CLAUDIO BACIGALUPI says the completion of the Centre of Excellence which has stalled for years will be catered for under the recently announced K1.5-billion.

The money will also finance the construction of eight boarding Secondary schools with disability inclusion facilities.

Mr. BACIGALUPI further says the EU will roll out K1.2-billion to support disability sensitive and inclusive early childhood education and Development in Luapula and Northwestern Provinces.

He was speaking during the 2023 International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Lusaka today.
