Traxxas X-Maxx Bent Driveshaft Solution? "The Brace" Install

Описание к видео Traxxas X-Maxx Bent Driveshaft Solution? "The Brace" Install

This is something I have always struggled with in my Traxxas X-Maxx - the center driveshaft will bent on large jumps - especially if you actually land them flat! It seems the whole chassis flexes and bends the center driveshaft.

Enter "The Brace" - a precision machined piece of aluminum that helps to support that center driveshaft. I got mine from Dennis Smallbone Prints - get one of them here: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...

There is also a brand new V2 version! You can see it here: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...

The stock X-Maxx driveshaft it is designed to fit: https://amzn.to/3ppzXTD
The Integy shaft I was using: https://amzn.to/3iHScAM

In this video you will see the full install that I went through. Please note that it is designed for the factory driveshaft, not the aftermarket driveshaft I am running. That made some difference.
