Old Detroit screams to life after 24 years!!! 65 year old crawler lives again!!!

SUBSCRIDE FOR MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS!!!! Join me while I attempt to get this old girl running again. This Allis Chalmers HD14 crawler tractor has a Detroit 6v71 2 stroke diesel in it. Has not been run in 24 years. I pulled it to my property and now am finally getting it running again. First start in many years. Also a cold start. This tractor use to run a sawmill as its last job before "retirement". Owner had started it and the unit "ran away". I figure the governor was stuck in full fuel because he was able to shut it off with the fuel shut off lever. Further inspection found that I was correct about that. Cleaned and reassembled. Seems to run better but there is a fuel delivery issue I believe that's causing it to slow die and come back as its driven. Also steering clutch and brake issues I will cover in a future video.
