In this video Dr. Rose Wilkerson (aka Shakti Devi) demonstrates how to keep your yantra energized with a short hydration ritual.

Materials you need:
◦ Your yantra
◦ A cup of fresh water
◦ Light (i.e. ghee lamp or candle)
◦ Clean cloth or paper towel
◦ A clean container to catch the water when poured onto the yantra

Basic hydration ritual:
1. Take the light and show it to the yantra in a clockwise circular motion while chanting the yantra’s mantra.
2. Put the yantra into the container and pour fresh water over it while chanting the mantra.
3. Remove the yantra from the container and dry it with a towel.
4. Put the yantra back on your altar, take the light and show it to the yantra in the same way described in #1 above.

An even shorter hydration ritual:
Use a spray bottle with fresh water in it. You can also add a little sugar in the water to sweeten it up. Spray the water on the yantra and dry it.
