Note from the Director: "SPEAK TO ME" is more than just my first short film—it's a deeply personal project born out of a need to spark a conversation about mental health among Black men. This film was inspired by the unexpected loss of my best friend, which left me questioning how many of us struggle in silence without a support system.

Creating this film was a labor of love, and while I now see the flaws and mistakes I made, it's an important part of my journey. This project marked the beginning of my full-time career as a filmmaker. In the three years since its release, I've dedicated myself to studying and honing my craft, understanding the immense work it takes to create even an "okay" project.

"SPEAK TO ME" represents my commitment to this craft and my desire to help others find their voice.
