The Next Big Thing in the Future of Africa's Solar Technology is here!

Remember the excitement we felt when we first announced the commencement of the second cohort of our journey into raising the next generation of solar technicians in Africa? This highlight video from the onboarding ceremony is a testament to that excitement. Not only did we welcome a bigger class than our first cohort, but we also had the honour of hearing from past participants who have since started their own businesses and partnered with leading solar companies in Nigeria.

The launch event, held on July 29th, 2024, captured the energy and excitement of the day as we welcomed a new group of dedicated trainees ready to make their mark in the renewable energy sector.

Key moments include powerful insights from our CEO, James Ezeilo, and Tunde Rotimi, Director of Business Growth and Strategy at MacTay, who both inspired participants to pursue excellence in solar technology.

We also heard an uplifting testimonial from Victor Nwaokoro, a successful graduate of our first cohort, who shared how the program transformed his career and entrepreneurial journey.

With strong support from government representatives, including Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe (Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment), Hon. Tolani Sule (Commissioner, Ministry of Tertiary Education Lagos State), and Hon. Ajani Owolabi (Lagos State House of Representatives, Representing Lagos State Mainland Constituency 1), this program is a testament to the impact of collaboration in driving sustainable development and economic empowerment.
