For our first side trip of 2021, we headed to Khorfakkan. It is a 90-minute drive from Dubai and there is so much to see in this city.

Our first stop was Shees Park. We strolled around the park, then up on its mountain walkways to have a better view of the surrounding areas. Before moving on to our next destination, Gab and I had enjoyed in their play area. I wonder who had more fun between us?

Then, we continued our journey at Al Rafisah Dam where Gabriel immediately requested to ride a kayak which we refused because we didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the area. Good thing someone gave him bread to feed the ducks and fishes which distracted him from his kayak plea. While we were walking around, Gab complained that he’s starving. We lost track of the time and didn’t notice that it was already almost 2:00pm. So we ate our lunch there with the view of the dam.

Gab fell asleep on our way to the third stop of our Khorfakkan day tour. We waited for him to wake up, then hiked the Al Rabi Hiking Trail, which we will feature in our next video.

It was already dark when we finished the hike, but before going home, we passed by Khorfakkan’s newest attractions, the waterfall and the amphitheater. We also planned to visit the hearts beach, but I guess we just have to come back to discover more of Khorfakkan.
