The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has created a pleasant green park on the embankment of the Gandipet Reservoir at a cost of Rs 35.6 crore. This park was inaugurated by Telangana IT Minister KTR.



Gandipet Eco Park has become more special in Hyderabad which is already the center of many historical buildings. Apart from the suburbs of the city, it is very close to the outer ring road, so it is convenient for tourists to visit.

Located only a few kilometers from Gandipet, Kokapet, Narsingh and Manikonda, this park will delight nature lovers as well as suburbanites.

A large open-air theater has been built in the Gandipet Eco Park. It also features symbols of Telangana’s culture and traditions, and a number of pieces of art. Not only this, Minister KTR laid the foundation stone for the eco park to be developed by HMDA on 125 acres with another 75 crore rupees. An infinity pool, an aquarium, luxurious wooden cottages, camping tents, an aviary and a butterfly garden will be set up in it.

Apart from this, this eco park is being constructed with gazebos, pergolas, boardwalk and foot courts. Gandipet Park established by HMDA will be another beauty for the city.

With the increase in population in the city, the problem of environmental pollution is increasing. In this program, HMDA is developing green parks. As a part of that, Gandipet Eco Park will provide some peaceful atmosphere.
