After that, Parry walks along Hefang Street, an ancient marketplace known for traditional Chinese medicine, herbal shops, and local street food. This street reflects daily life in Hangzhou during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Finally, Parry visits a Longjing Tea Plantation, where China’s most famous green tea is grown. He learns how tea leaves are hand-picked, dried, and brewed following centuries-old traditions.
Along the way, Parry enjoys delicious local dishes such as vegetarian temple food, Beggar’s Chicken, lotus seed cakes, and green tea snacks.
