Gaslands - Miyazaki vs The Devil on the Highway - Pre Season Death Race Episode 2

We're back with more Gaslands as we see two new teams face off in a Pre-Season Exhibition Death Race. Miyazaki No Utenshu are a team of high performance vehicles that aim to win through sheer speed, and to win the crowd over with flashy driving. But they're facing the nightmare of Gaslands, The Devil on the Highway, a demonic car seemingly possessed by evil spirits. The Devil is unnatural, and flanked with literal ghosts.

In an alternate future where Earth is under the rule of the former colony of Mars, there is no real quality of life for the people of Earth. All money goes to Mars, rampant poverty, crime and death. The only respite is the hugely popular television show, Gaslands. Desperate teams race weaponised vehicles in death races, open combat and more, for the chance to win a one way ticket to Mars, to supposed luxury. In this pre-season exhibition race, The Patriots, sponsored by Rutherford, and The Runners, sponsored by The Warden, face off in a death race.

Shoot, ram, skid and loot your way through the ruins of civilisation with Gaslands, a tabletop wargame of car-on-car destruction in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Players control small fleets of armed vehicles in battles for resources, dominance and survival.

With rules for multiple vehicle types (from motorbikes to big rigs), varied special weapons and accessories (including oil slicks, caltrops and nitro boosters), and a host of options for scenarios, environmental conditions, crew and campaigns, players can tailor games to match their own visions for an anarchic future.

The game is published by Osprey Games, and designed to be played with kit-bashed Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars.
