Phoenix Watertown The Most Successful Tourist Attraction in China

Phoenix Watertown is a place I visited almost ten years ago. Revisiting it, I sense that a lot has been changed, yet a lot hasn’t. It is still one of the most successful tourist attractions in China. Do you know that the airport in Guizhou province was named Fenghuang(phoenix) because of Phoenix Watertown? It was a genius business strategy!
Having the chance to try the shrimp pancake again is wonderful (the first booth offers almost pure shrimp pancakes which is much better than the ones made of shrimp and flour). However, this time, my destination isn’t Phoenix, rather it is the raw rural markets hiding in deep mountains.
In the next video, I will explore the markets, meet up with locals, and try out the street food in the markets.
Phoenix Watertown apparently has more international traffic than other places in Hunan province. It is a great place to experience Miao culture and ancient Chinese Watertown. welcome all who are interested to come and visit!
