The weekend of May 7th and 8th, 2016 brought mainline steam back to Roanoke featuring none other than N&W 611. In a partnership with Norfolk Southern, VMT ran four trips over the course of two days; two across the Blue Ridge grade to Lynchburg and two across Christiansburg Grade to Radford.

In this video, you'll see scenes from all four trips at well-known locations as well as a few lesser-known ones. 611 does her part providing an absolutely phenomenal show. Enjoy!
