(This is a re-upload of the medley originally released in July 2019)

The medley is written into three movements, in the common "fast-slow-fast" form.

The first movement starts with the ominous introduction from Guren no Yumiya (OP1). After the slow introduction, we are introduced to the iconic Guren no Yumiya theme:
"Sied iher das Essen? Nein, wir sind die Jäger!"

Guren no Yumiya continues, getting louder and louder, and the theme returns in the chorus. When the chorus ends, we are given no time to rest. The medley starts the next song, Shikabane to Shoukei no Michi (OP5), immediately. We are finally given some breathing room when Jiyuu no Tsubasa (OP2) arrives. The start of OP2 is deliberately slower and heavier to contrast the previous 3 minutes. Shinzou wo Sasageyo (OP3) cuts in suddenly with a marcato introduction, and the relentless music continues. The first movement concludes in epic fashion with the reprise of the Guren no Yumiya theme, repeated three times, each time a minor third higher (a common musical modulation used in Linked Horizon's songs).

The fermata at the end of the first movement removes any lingering "epic-ness" and prepares the listeners for the next movement. The second movement contrasts the first heavily, in tempo and musical style. It starts with Sawano Hiroyuki's "attack on titan", the counterpart to Linked Horizon's "Guren no Yumiya". The rest of the movement continues with heavy use of rubato and improvisation. Throughout the movement we hear the memorable soundtracks composed by Sawano Hiroyuki.

The return on Linked Horizon signals the beginning of the final movement. It starts with the quiet Akatsuki no Requiem. The music intensifies when Red Swan (OP4) comes in, but still subdued, and leaving us wanting for more. As Red Swan slowly fades, almost all the tension is released. A beautiful arpeggio passage follows, and finally, the recognizable Guren no Yumiya theme returns, though quietly and peacefully, as if we are recalling memories from the long-forgotten past. The tension builds, little by little, until Guren no Yumiya returns in its full glory.
