Fort Worth’s FY 2025 budget was proposed at $1.062 billion, with a focus on infrastructure, public safety, and community investment. Key points include $9 million for street maintenance, a new Northwest Community Center, the opening of Meadowbrook Golf Course in spring 2025, a new downtown library, a homeless pilot program, and increased funding for PayGo projects. The property tax rate will be slightly adjusted to remain under the No New Revenue rate. Public hearings and community meetings are scheduled for the City Council's budget review, with a final vote on Sept. 17th.
