"Hey Dan, I have recently installed my MrCool DIY generation three. When in Follow Me mode, the fan runs continuously. Is this normal or should the fan stop once the set temperature is reached?"

On a MrCool Mini Split, the fan runs all the time, even when the compressor stops. The fan runs just to maintain the interior air comfort. The unit should only go off when the unit is entirely powered off, which it probably won't be if you're using it regularly.

So, if it's going to run all the time, is that going to increase my electric bill? No. It requires very minimal power to blow the fan. And the fan blowing will keep the compressor from running all the time, which will help your power consumption.
