Pasighat June 23:- under Department of Indigenous affairs govt of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with East Siang district administration organised one day workshop on Preservation of Priesthood culture yesterday at Engo Takar Dere Pasighat.
Honourable MLA of 38th East Pasighat Shri Tapi Darang and Dr Tashi Taloh, Principal JN College Pasighat grace the program as chief guest and guest of honour respectively and Dr Tajom Tasung, President CDPYK Pasighat,Shri Taddo Borang,Rtd.ADC and Dr Delong padung attended as resource person .
One hundred seventy one(161) Tabe(priest) were attended and members of Namsing, Mebo,Sille,Ruksin, Bilat and Pasighat Bogong block delivered speech for better function of Donyi Polo believers.
Priest of Mikong village Shri Tanong Takoh demonstrated the healing tactics.
