Dyslexia is a complex interplay of many different things. When understanding and explaining it, it often helps to think of it in terms of overlapping categories - just like a Venn Diagram.

Here, dyslexia is presented as a combination of three categories:
➣ Sequencing;
➣ Phonological processing; and
➣ Working Memory

When looked at in this way, the chances of becoming overwhelmed by the multiplicity of characteristics become a lot lower.

Dyslexia is not simply "one thing". It's a combination of many things.
