EKA Arena by TransStadia: New home ground of Indian Football Team

Inaugurated by none other than Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in June 2017, the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad, Gujarat is considered to be Asia's biggest and India's first convertible stadium. It is the first stadium in the country that can host more than a dozen sports combined with wellness, leisure, and other luxurious facilities. The building includes a sports academy, sports science and rehab facility, banquets, sports club, diners & cafés, and retail space.

Today, we take you on an exclusive behind the scenes tour of this first of its kind facility and tell you some fun facts you probably didn't know.

The Hero Intercontinental Cup 2019, scheduled to take place at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad from 7th -19th July 2019, will see the Blue Tigers take on Tajikistan in the opening clash on July 7th.
