Hi Travis and Suzy, Lets stay with another 80s new wave band that were somewhat big here in the US. Love and Rockets were a highly influential band from the UK that helped drive the 2nd british invasion. Bands like the cure, depeche mode (pronounced da-pesh), and so many others made it big here in America, and love and rockets, for a short time, had MTV airplay and played to enthusiastic crowds. Although they never hit it really big, to give you an idea of their importance and influence, they are currently celebrating their 40th anniversary as the opener on the current jane's addiction tour, who are also celebrating their 40th anniversary.
