One of the integral parts of a PhD is the enrichment and training that you get from workshops, lectures and learning opportunities. The SAMBa CDT is no different and their flagship training opportunity is their Integrative Think Tanks (ITT's for short). Behind the research is a postgraduate student led initiative in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath, focused around showcasing the real world that goes on within academia. Funded by the UoB Public Engagement Centre and SAMBa CDT, started and led by Kat Phillips.
