EPIC Iceland women tour - October 2023

What we did:

🌬Waterfalls, waterfalls, waterfalls! Powerful, gushing, from the top, from behind, from the bottom, from the top, WOW!
🚤 🦭Zodiac tour on Glacier lagoon seeing ancient glaciers, new icebergs being created and seals chilling on ice
🖤 Black sand beaches galore, impressive, cheeky and filled with diamonds (aka floating icebergs)
🧊🧊 Entering the heart of a glacier and exploring a natural ice cave, leaves me speechless every time
✨ 🌌 The Northern Lights! YAY! 7 out of the 8 October trips have seen them, often multiple times, sometimes from inside the hotel hot tub or thermal pool
🐑🐑 Sheep, and a sheep farmer welcoming us to her home for tea and cake. We also got to pet the friendly sheep
🌋 Volcanoes and lava fields, some still steaming others covered in moss
🍽 Food and history tour of Reykjavik with our local female guide and great fresh food at every meal
🍅 🐝 A tomato farm, ever wondered how veggies are grown in a country that gets THAT cold?
🐎 Icelandic horse stable visit and demo. They are the most adorable horses ever!
