Hi, Friends in LEGO! This is my brick model of the well known landmark of Rome the Pantheon.
After a long break again, finally another MOC is ready to share with you. It's the LEGO Architecture scale brick model of the famous landmark of Rome, the Pantheon. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think of it.
It has been on my bucket list for a while. There were already so great brick interpretations of this building that I needed to add mine too. I was really inspired by | MolochBaal ⟩'s work.
(I present two versions because it's hard to decide what to depict as the Pantheon. So there's a white model which is something of a reconstruction of the buiding. It's white, imagining it was all covered with white marble and in the two front niches there are statues. The other one tries to depict it in its present state, with bare brick surfaces.)
My main goal was to make the brick model's proportions as close to the original as possible. The dome and the facade ornaments were a challenge but real fun to deal with.
